This is a brief structure of Web Content Management System (WCMS):

• Front End & Back End - The front end is where the website users & the visitors use and see.  The back end is the administration layer for the administrators.
• Access Right - The websire displays different content based on the access rights such as a registered usr, author, editor and super administrator.
• Content - It can be various forms such as text, a picture, a link, a music file, an application, RSS feeds, and newsfeeds etc.
• Extensions - components, modules, plug-ins and templates
• Components - Componets are extensions that offer additional functionalities.
• Plug-ins - It is a programming code which is appended at certain places in the Joomla framework to change its functionality.
• Templates - It is a visual editing pattern that is placed on the top of content.
• Workflow - a sequence of operations.
• Configuration Settings
• Application Programming Interface (API)    

According to Wikepedia's definition,  Content Management System (abbreviated as CMS) is "a computer software system used to enable and organize the joint process of creating and editing text and multimedia documents (content)."

In other words, a CMS (also referred as a "Web management system") is software or a group or suite of applications & tools that enable an individual or a group of people (such as company employees) to seamlessly create, edit, review and publish electronic text.  A CMS allows website owners to publish new content to their web sites. 

A CMS is mainly designed for Web publishing, and it will provide options and features to index and search documents and specify keywords and other metadata for search engine crawlers.

Joomla'sdefault order of the articlesin a specific category are by date created. To change the order to ascending alphabetical order like A to Z (but leave other categories as it is), you need to set the order of the specific category using the parameters.

1. Go to Menu > Mainmenu > Advanced Parameters
   
2. Set the Primary order from default to Title (Alphabetical)
